Utility Tariffs

The tariffs listed in the drop down are based on the zip code specified in the project’s address.

If the tariff applicable to your project is not listed, click Request New Tariff to request that the tariff be added to the system. Because tariffs change often, Fortress Power must verify and validate all tariff information we pull into the system. When requesting a new tariff, it can take up to a week for it to be made available for a project.

The available voltage service levels are defined by the selected tariff. For example:

  • Southern California Edison’s TOU-8D tariff applies across the voltage levels of Over 51kV, 2kV-50kV, and Less than 2kV
  • San Diego Gas and Electric’s AL-TOU tariff applies across Transmission, Primary, and Secondary voltage service levels

The meter id, tariff, and appropriate voltage service level for a specific meter can be found the utility bill for that meter. The following sample bill highlights where this information is found.
