Energy Use Profile Overview

Energy Use Profile Overview

Energy Use Profile Overview

Energy use profiles represent 15-minute interval data for a single utility meter/load profile at a site. Keystone Designer is also able to use hourly interval data. A profile is defined by:

  • A description of the meter from which the load data comes
  • A general categorization of the type of load attached to the meter
  • The utility tariff under which the load is billed
  • The actual interval data
  • The option to process as 15-minute or hourly data (choose the option that matches your load profile .csv)

Note: if you don't have an energy use profile handy for a specific project, feel free to use one of the profiles attached at the bottom of this article: Creating and Running Your First Keystone Designer Scenario
