Customers and Contacts

Keystone Designer maintains a rolodex of both Customers and Contacts.

  • Customers are often companies or entities that own potential project sites
  • Contacts are individuals with whom to communicate project and scenario details

Each customer in Keystone Designer is defined by a name and primary contact. Each project in Keystone Designer not only must be assigned a customer but also a project contact.

NOTE: this contact does not have to be the primary contact associated with a customer.

For each project, a customer can either be selected from a list of existing customers or be newly created. Existing customers can be edited once selected in the drop down. Contact information is required to add a new customer.

In the same way, a project contact can either be selected from existing contacts or created.

NOTE: when sharing optimization scenario results, an email will be sent to the selected project contact’s email address by default, so please make sure it is accurate.
