Project Elements and User Access

In Keystone Designer, a project comprises the following elements:

  • A project site definition, including name and address. The project address must be complete and accurate as it is used to determine:
    • The latitude and longitude of the project, which is used to model solar generation
    • The timezone in which the project is located
    • The utility that services the project, which is used to provide a selection of applicable tariffs
  • A customer for whom the project is analyzed
  • The customer point of contact for this project
  • One or more energy use profiles (interval load data)
  • One or more optimization scenarios
  • A list of internal application users who have access to the project

Access to a project is granted in one of two ways:

  • An account administrator has access to all projects in the account
  • An analyst has access only to projects to which he or she has been assigned.

To assign users to a project, click Add next to the User’s section heading.

To remove a user, click the circle with the user's initials. The user's full name can be accessed by hovering over the circle with your mouse.

Any number of users can be assigned to any project.
