Project Workflow

Clicking on Create New Project on the dashboard initiates the new project wizard:


This wizard takes you through all the steps you need to successfully create the project, including choosing a name, setting the project's location, and selecting the associated customer and main project contact.

 Projects move through the following statuses:

  1. New—the project has been created
  2. Active—an optimization scenario has been submitted for processing
  3. Shared—an optimization scenario has been shared with an external customer
  4. Closed—a user has manually closed the project by clicking the Close link

After completing all the steps in the wizard, you'll reach the main project form:


Keystone Designer will find utilities by Province Code is the project is in Canada, and by Zip Code is the project is in a different country. If the utility does not populate correctly, the utility can be changed by clicking on the utility name shown in the red box above.

NOTE: The utility cannot be changes once Energy Use Profiles are added to a project.
