Clicking on Create New Project on the dashboard initiates the new project wizard:

This wizard takes you through all the steps you need to successfully create the project, including choosing a name, setting the project's location, and selecting the associated customer and main project contact.

After completing all the steps in the wizard, you'll reach the main project form:

Projects move through the following statuses:

  1. New—the project has been created
  2. Active—an optimization scenario has been submitted for processing
  3. Shared—an optimization scenario has been shared with an external customer
  4. Closed—a user has manually closed the project by clicking the Close link
