Project Workflow
Clicking on Create New Project on the dashboard initiates the new project wizard:
This wizard takes you through all the steps you need to successfully create the project, including choosing a name, setting the project's location, and selecting the associated customer and main project contact.
Projects move through the following statuses:
- New—the project has been created
- Active—an optimization scenario has been submitted for processing
- Shared—an optimization scenario has been shared with an external customer
- Closed—a user has manually closed the project by clicking the Close link
After completing all the steps in the wizard, you'll reach the main project form:
Keystone Designer will find utilities by Province Code is the project is in Canada, and by Zip Code is the project is in a different country. If the utility does not populate correctly, the utility can be changed by clicking on the utility name shown in the red box above.
NOTE: The utility cannot be changes once Energy Use Profiles are added to a project.
